My Dreamy Trip to La La Land & Las Vegas | Part 2

After an incredible time in Los Angeles we set off for a 4 hour road journey to the fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada! We considered flying here as it is a lot quicker but as my dad has always dreamt of exploring America’s famous old historic Route 66, we chose to drive so that we could soak up the history.

But luck was on my side and the most exciting thing happened..I was able to book two weeks to explore the wonders of the City of Stars and Las Vegas!

The Little Book Of Bob | Streetcat Bob & James Bowen Book Signing at Waterstones

The day I heard that the most famous ginger majestic feline was making an appearance at my local Waterstones to sign their new book ‘A Little Book of Bob’ I was overcome with joy. Mum and I have both read the previous books and saw the film at the cinema so we knew we had to make this a mother daughter day out!

With autumn arriving it starts to feel a little dull and a little cold and if you’re like me I like to surround myself with cosy blankets, cups of tea and a warm scented candle burning. I also always make sure I purchase a warm and winter scented room spray as I’ve usually used all my summer scented ones by now.

My Kittens

A few months before Christmas I rescued these beautiful female tortishell kittens which were living in a stable. They needed a home, and I had recently lost my cat of 18 years, and the loss of a cats presence in my home was tremendous. So of course I decided to adopt them!!!

They are now 3 1/2 months old. Both very healthy, had their flu jabs, and soon to be neutered so they can go outside to explore the garden. 

We have named the calico baby Evie

And the dark tortishell Elsie!

Elsie ate her first fly today(trained well!) she's also discovered lovely warm radiators.....

Other than Florida, this has to be my favourite trip of the year so far!

My dad and I took the two ladies to Holkham in August, it was a warm day around 25 degrees, we managed to park in the shade which was a bonus we got there early as it got busy quickly. The ladies were extremely well behaved, loved the sea and has most defiantly boosted my confidence for travelling more places with Breeze. Planning our next trip out already...next to Thetford Forest!

American Adventure

On January 25th this year I travelled to America for a two week holiday to Orlando, Florida. I've been wanting to go for quite some time so when it come around I couldn't have been more thrilled. As this was my second visit to the states, I kinda knew what to expect on the travelling side, long plane journeys and well...warmer weather! Last time I visited Atlanta Georgia. We did visit Florida briefly but only for a two days to visit Universal Studios and Daytona bikeweek (2009). 

So on my recent trip I was so excited to explore Disney, and being a huge Harry Potter fan, I had to go back to universal whilst the HP Celebration was on!
