Feelin’ Cute! Disney x Skinnydip

It’s been a few months since I’ve sat down and written a blog post, but I’m very excited to be writing this one!
Skinnydip recently released another of their Disney sidekick collections featuring Lady from Lady and the Tramp, Flower from Bambi and most importantly Marie from The Aristocats!!
I have been waiting for Skinnydip to create some Marie pieces and they are just as purrfect as I had dreamt of!

The first item I chose from the collection was this adorable phone case! It has Marie all over it striking her iconic poses.
I was in need of a phone case for my new phone and this one came just in time!
£18

The moment I saw Skinnydip created a Marie knitted jumper, I knew it was meant for me!
I am a bit of a jumper addict, I just find them so comfy and cosy.
It’s made with a thin knit material in a baby pink shade which is perfect for spring.
Its designed to be fitted so I chose to size up so I that I can wear it with leggings aswell as tucked in to a skirt or jeans!
£35

Lastly I’m so glad there was a Marie sweatshirt in the collection! I’ve been wearing this so much as it’s so soft! It’s a light grey colour sweatshirt with a ‘Spoilt’ Marie print!
I chose to size up with this one also as I prefer my sweaters oversized.
I’m glad I did as it’s perfect in medium!
(I’m a size uk 8)
£25

I hope you enjoyed my post celebrating the Disney Feelin’ Cute x Skinnydip collection!
Did you pick up anything from it?

Dermalogica 12 Days to Glow Advent Calendar

As December came and I realised I didn’t have an advent calendar I was rather quite disappointed that I had a entirely forgotten to get one and so had any of my family (yes I’m 26....so what, everyone gets one right?!) nevertheless, a few days later, Dermalogica came to my rescue and spoiled me with one full of their skincare favourites!

Lisa Angel Store Launch | intu Chapelfield

Lisa Angel has always been a shop I have enjoyed popping into and browsing for gifts or a little treat to myself. They have a small store down Norwich Lane’s and also a pop up stand in Chapelfield, however they have just opened a brand new large store on the lower floor of Chapelfield! When I was invited to attend the opening, I was was so excited and had to go!

Botanics Skincare ‘All Bright’ Range | The Plant One

I’ve never been one for using great amounts of skin care products, I have relatively normal skin and don’t find that I don’t need to use a lot of products.

When I was in my local Boots recently this I saw that the All Bright range in the Botanics section had a few offers on and I was drawn by the fact it enhances radiance and brighteness using extracts from the hibiscus plant and was intrigued. I did some research and read reviews and the Radiance Balm was the product that most enlightened me as I love my skin to look dewy and natural when I wear make up and the balm can be used as a primer which is perfect for me!
It left my skin with a lovely glow and soft glow which really makes my skin look fresh and revived in the mornings and keeps my foundation/B.B. cream looking more natural rather than matte.

After loving the Radiance Balm I decided to try the Foam Wash in the same range as I love to use a facial wash twice a day and my current was running out. After just one use my skin felt firm and incredibly smooth! It lathers into a light foam and is easy to wash off. The scent is a lovely floral which isn’t too potent whilst cleansing. This has replaced my Body Shop vitamin E wash as I noticed more of a cleanse and brightening results with this wash.

The final product I got was the All Bright Day Cream. Which also includes Hibiscus for brightening and hydrating properties, I mainly got this cream because it has a SPF which my two last creams (Nivea & Body Shop) didn’t. There is so much product in this tub I think it will last a long time and I love the fact it doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily which a lot of creams do.

Overall, I am super impressed and glad I purchased from this skincare range. I am so into nature and using all the natural ingredients that the earth provides within products and this brand working with Kew Gardens was also a plus for purchasing as all the money is going towards supporting a organic brand. The packaging is very appealing to featuring succulents and plants. The only downside is the price which is to expected as it is very good quality products, however they seem to often be on offer in Boots !

Lush Easter | Bubble bar’s and bombs

I don’t know about you but I love to get on board with seasonal Lush releases, Easter being no exception! I absolutely love the bright, spring colours of Easter and being surrounded by chocolate of course! And love nothing more than indulging in a few hot relaxing bubble baths over the bank holiday 4 day weekend so I picked up a few bombs that caught my eye for the occasion.

Autumn Favourites

As the colder and darker days start to creep in it makes me think of cosy, fire lit nights and a creamy hot chocolate. I've been thinking about the products I will be going to use this autumn and putting away a few summer products (such as a dark bronzer, tanning lotions) so here is my so- far favourite products I've already been using through September into October:

My Kittens

A few months before Christmas I rescued these beautiful female tortishell kittens which were living in a stable. They needed a home, and I had recently lost my cat of 18 years, and the loss of a cats presence in my home was tremendous. So of course I decided to adopt them!!!
They are now 3 1/2 months old. Both very healthy, had their flu jabs, and soon to be neutered so they can go outside to explore the garden.
We have named the calico baby Evie
And the dark tortishell Elsie!
Elsie ate her first fly today(trained well!) she's also discovered lovely warm radiators.....

Warner Bro's Studio Tour - The Making Of Harry Potter 'Hogwarts in the Snow' 28/12/16

Entrance

This was my second trip to the Studio tour in London, it was great to return on a different seasonal theme. Hogwarts in the Snow was very christmasy, trees and other decor was draped through the tour on the sets and even a demonstration of how they put the snow onto the castle to make it look realistic.
