My dreamy trip to La La Land & Las Vegas | Part 1

If you told me this time last year I’d be walking amongst the stars on Hollywood Boulevard or strolling down Rodeo Drive, id probably of said I Wish... But luck was on my side and the most exciting thing happened..I was able to book two weeks to explore the wonders of the City of Stars and Las Vegas!

First stop we made was Hollywood Boulevard where we explored the strip finding our favourite stars, took a visit to the Chinese Theatre, the Disney Ghirardelli and did some shopping at Hollywood & Highland.

We took a tour from Hollywood Boulevard to see fantastic views of the Hollywood Sign,  also famous celebrity houses around Beverly Hills and houses that have starred in movies such as Halloween and Pretty Woman. We decided to have dinner at Hard Rock Cafe after.

On the second day we drove to Univeral Studios Hollywood for a fun day of rides, a studio tour and shows. My favourite part is Wizarding World which I’ve also visited in Orlando, this one is slightly smaller as it does not have Diagon Alley but its still as magical with Hogsmeade and Hogwarts castle!

Me and my dad had such a fun time meeting characters, I met two of my favourite cats, Hello Kitty is so so sweet! As for the park itself was very empty there was no queues or wait times! We had the best meal at Krusty Burger in Springfield and then a Minions banana ice cream for desert.

The day after we went to Disneyland in Anaheim and Disneyland California Adventure!
We weren’t quite so lucky as the queues were long and busy as there was filming for ABC christmas specials but we did get to see Gwen Stefani perform infront of Sleeping Beauty’s castle which was spectacular!

We still really enjoyed watching the Christmas Parade and the atmosphere of Disneyland! I love just strolling down Main St when the christmas decorations are in full swing!

The next day we  booked a time for the Warner Bro’s Studio Tour Hollywood (which is similar to the London one but not fully Harry Potter related!) which we got to go on a tour around sets, studios and see how shows are created and put together. There was Batmobiles, DC comic superhero costumes from Wonderwoman and Aquaman etc. But the best part was the Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts collections and the Friends Central Perk set and cafe!

Later that day we took a drive to Griffith Park to go to Griffith Observatory. I have always wanted to go here as the views of Hollywood are beautiful. You can also stargaze and find out about the sun, stars and other astronomy.

After the first 5 days being spent in LA, we left for a few days to go explore Las Vegas!

Thank you for reading, Stay tuned for part 2!
